As I am ever challenging myself, in the fall of 2010 I took up Ballet. Ballet has made the most postive impact on my life; the correlation between dance and horses is astounding. Both disciplines demand strength, balance and coordination, physically, emotionally and mentally. I have incorporated many concepts from ballet into my riding and coaching methods.

I have a great desire to motivate people and horses to be happy and healthy. I love riding and working with horses as they truly are the driving force of continued learning and growth in the pursuit of great horsemanship.

In 2002, I became a Certified Western Level 1 Coach through Equine Canada, and have been actively coaching students of various ages and riding levels since then. I challenge students to become stronger and more definitive riders.

In 2005, at the BC College of Equine Therapy, I became an Equine Sports Therapist. This certification is complimentary to my coaching as I am able to address muscular imbalances, coordination or behavioral issues in horse or rider.
